Services: Construction Certificate Applications.

Construction Certificate is required for all building work that requires a development consent. The certificate is required to be issued prior to the commencement of any building or engineering work, but after the issue of the development consent by your local council.

The certificate verifies that:

• the proposed development will comply with the Building Code of Australia (BCA)
• the plans and specifications are consistent with the development consent
• matters required to be addressed prior to the issue of the certificate have been addressed
• a fire safety schedule has been prepared (not applicable to single residential development) and
• provision for structural and fire protection measures have been satisfied.
